Ko Lanta is easy and inexpensive to reach from Trang, Phuket, Bangkok or Malaysia . The island is serviced by passenger ferries from both Krabi & Phi Phi and car ferries from the mainland. Krabi is the most convenient gateway to Ko Lanta if coming by fight from Bangkok, and if arriving from Phuket passage is via either Phi Phi or Krabi. Trang also serves as a regional transit point for those coming in from the south. Please bear in mind that if your arrival time is late in the day, the local minibus or public passenger ferries scheduled for Ko Lanta may not always be available. We are please to advice you of some choice for transfer to Koh Lanta by boat from Krabi , Aonang, Railay, Koh Phi Phi, Phuket or Trang to Koh Lanta pier ( you need to catch taxi from airport to Krabi pier first) then we will pick you up to hotel by shuttle bus free of charge. I recommend this way to arrival by private van from Krabi airport direct to hotel, can booking at hotel service is rate around 2,700 THB per one way trip or catch at the airport with the similar price. I recommend this way to arrival if you fight it late or for comfortable by public van from Krabi City direct to resort ( you need to catch taxi from airport to city first) rate around 350 THB per seat. If you don't worry to share 10-11 people inside, I recommend this choice when you check-out because the van can pick you at hotel and drop you airport.
